Can I apply for a second semester at Oxford?

Yes.  Some students enjoy their time at Oxford so much that they want either to stay on for a second consecutive semester or to reapply for a another semester after they have gone back home.  Such applicants should go through the normal application process for each semester, as it is not possible to apply for more than one semester at a time. SSO staff welcome all applications, including those from people who have been for a first semester, and will consider each carefully, on its own merits.  We normally do not need a student to submit new/additional references/transcripts but will reserve the right to request such if we want further information.  The course can be adapted to make sure there is as little repetition as possible.  Students thinking about returning for a second semester should listen carefully to advice from their own schools on this matter, as all others.
